If you’re looking for counseling, chances are something important in your life isn’t working the way you hoped.
Maybe anxiety has become exhausting. Maybe intrusive thoughts won’t leave you alone. Maybe your marriage feels distant after years of misunderstanding—or shattered by betrayal. Perhaps you’re caught in habits you never imagined would define you, and you’re wondering whether real change is even possible.
I’ve spent my career helping people navigate those moments.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-MHSP) in Tennessee with advanced training in marriage and family therapy, trauma counseling, and evidence-based treatments for anxiety and OCD. I work with adults, couples, and families both in person in Chattanooga and through secure telehealth across Tennessee.
While I enjoy working with a wide range of concerns, much of my practice focuses on four areas:
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
- Marriage and relationship distress
- Betrayal and affair recovery
- Men struggling with pornography, compulsive sexual behaviors, and unwanted sexual habits
- ADHD
My goal isn’t simply to help you feel better for a week. It’s to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface, develop practical tools that create lasting change, and move toward the life and relationships you actually want.
My Approach
No single counseling approach works for every person.
That’s why I draw from several research-supported models, including:
- Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples
- The Gottman Method
- Attachment-based interventions
- Trauma-informed care
Therapy isn’t just about insight. Insight matters—but change happens when insight is paired with action. Together we’ll identify the patterns keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to move forward.
More Than Techniques
Before becoming a counselor, I spent more than two decades serving in ministry. That experience taught me that people rarely need someone to impress them—they need someone willing to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and stay with them through difficult seasons.
As a Christian, I’m comfortable integrating faith into counseling when clients desire it. At the same time, I work with people from many different backgrounds and beliefs. You won’t receive assumptions or pressure from me—only respect and thoughtful care.

What You Can Expect
My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and straightforward.
I’ll listen carefully. I’ll challenge you when needed. I’ll celebrate progress with you. And I’ll help you do the work that leads to meaningful change.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s about becoming more fully the person you were created to be.
If you’re ready to take that next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
